Kottwitz wins car in UW give-away

An Aurora woman who has supported the Heartland United Way for the past 25 years and believes in its mission was a winner herself Thursday when her number was drawn in a 25 Keys of Christmas car give-away.
This vehicle hit a pivot and went over the curb, causing damage to the left rear door panels. Police Chief Paul Graham stated that the driver caused the accident while pulling out underneath the pivot.

Car-pivot collision blocks weekday flow on Highway 14

A driver collided with the back of a pivot on Highway 14, or 16th Street, near the Aurora Mall on Friday afternoon, with the overturned pivot blocking traffic for nearly an hour, according to Aurora Police Chief Paul Graham.

Classic car road tour to parade through Aurora Saturday

A true sight to behold, Aurora will welcome the 28th annual Nebraska Rod and Custom Association 600-mile Tour Nebraska driving event Saturday.  This is a road tour of 450-plus classic, antique and special interest vehicles. This unique driving event will also entertain young and old.

The High Plains Community School’s (HPC) cheerleaders will be hosting their first annual Show and Shine Car Show on Oct. 11 from 12-4 p.m. in Polk. “We’re having cars and trucks coming in and they will be parking out here in the grass and the gravel,” Coach Anna Combs said.
