Area volleyball teams will begin their respective postseason runs Monday, culminating with potential state tickets to be punched on Halloween. 

Aurora (20-11) will compete in the B-6 subdistrict and earned the No. 2 seed, taking on No. 3 GINW (15-14) at York Tuesday with a 7 p.m. start time. No. 1 York (23-8) will play No. 4 Seward (18-11) at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday with the subdistrict finals to be played Wednesday at York beginning at 6:30. 

High Plains (15-11) earned the No. 2 seed in the D1-6 subdistrict and will take on No. 3 Palmer (5-20) Monday at Central Valley with a 6:15 start time. No. 4 East Butler (3-25) will play No. 5 Twin River (0-20) in a play-in game to take on No. 1 Central Valley (12-12) at 7:30. The finals of that bracket will be played Tuesday at 7 p.m. 

Hampton (15-12) and Giltner (7-12) will compete together in the D2-3 subdistrict held at Nebraska Christian. Hampton is the No. 2 seed and will play No. 3 Osceola (10-11) Monday. No. 4 Giltner will compete in the play-in game with No. 5 Heartland Lutheran (7-16) for the opportunity to play No. 1 Nebraska Christian (15-8) later Monday night. Times of those matches haven't been finalized yet.
