A stout defensive effort from the Aurora girls soccer team came up about three minutes short Saturday morning. The Lady Huskies, powered by a late-season surge from Tainee Merrihew in goal, kept Hastings off the board for most of the 80-minute match, but the Tigers found the net in the 77th minute to pick up a 1-0 win to open the B-7 subdistrict tournament at GINW.
