Aurora's defensive pressure through the second half was evident on the floor and scoreboard. 

The Lady Huskies held Kearney Catholic to 11 second half points during a 38-31 win at home Thursday night. 

Aurora trailed for much of the first half and was down 20-17 at the break. 

From there, a flurry of three-point shots gave Aurora a lead it wouldn't give back. Aurora made eight of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter to pick up a win, highlighted by a 4-of-4 effort by Cassidy Knust, who led the team with 10 points. 

As for the boys, a rough second half led to Kearney Catholic leaving with a 58-34 win. 

Aurora started slow, but rallied to lead a couple times in the second quarter, but trailed 26-23 at the break. 

After that, the Stars outscored Aurora 32-11 in the second half to get the road win. 

Aurora will be back in action Friday night at Seward.
