Lady Huskies drop pair in Norris

    Aurora had a tough ask to begin its 2021 season. 

    The preseason Class B No. 8 Lady Huskies were on the road, taking on Class B No. 2 Norris as well as Class C-1 No. 2 Wahoo in a triangular played in Norris Thursday night. 

    Aurora ended up on the wrong end of both as Norris picked up a straight set win, 25-16 and 25-14 while Wahoo also defeated the Lady Huskies, 25-18 and 25-15. 

    The Lady Huskies will be back in action over the weekend, competing as part of the Bill Marshall volleyball classic at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island. Aurora will play Omaha Roncalli and Gretna from the Heartland Events Center Saturday.
