Hampton girls explode for 61 points to defeat Osceola at home

Hampton girls pushed the pace from the opening tip Friday in a home tilt against Osceola, scoring a season-high 61 points to chalk up the first win of the year.
Coach Margo LaBrie said her Lady Hawks play fast during practice, so she was glad to see that intensity when in counted in a 61-45 home victory.
“In practice the girls really push the ball, but then we don’t always see that in the game,” LaBrie said. “I think they’re starting to feel a lot more comfortable and I was proud of the way they played tonight.”
