Riley finishes 9th in final high school cross country event

Dylan Riley finished 9th for the Huskies at the Class C state cross country meet in Kearney Friday. It marks Riley’s second state medal, finishing 5th in 2019.

The competition in the Class C boys cross country race was five teams deep, and that showed up in the team tally at the end.
Milford ended the chilly Friday afternoon at Kearney Country Club on top of Class C while the top five teams were separated by just 17 points.
Among those in the hunt was Aurora, which finished fifth in the team race with 104 points, just five points out of the runner-up position held by Sidney.
