The start of the softball season featured several highs and lows for Aurora.  Opening night was the highest of highs, picking up a convincing 15-0 win over conference foe Lexington at home.  The next day, Aurora rode the wave, including a 1-2 record through its home tournament, starting the season 2-2 overall.
