HPC battles at Merrick County Invite
Body
Although it was delayed a few days, the High Plains track team got its first outdoor session in the books at the Merrick County Invite Saturday hosted by Central City.
The meet was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was pushed to Saturday because of weather.
A few teams were unable to make the rescheduled date, but there was still action to be had for the Storm.
Gavin Morris and Mario Lesiak both finished second in the 200 and 400 while Haden Helgoth was runner-up in the 1600.
Camden Morris and Cole Swanson were second and third in the 110 high hurdles while Cabot Archer and TJ Hiett were fourth place finishers in the shot and discus.
