Hampton continues its search for the first win of the year after falling to taller teams from Osceola and Heartland over the weekend.
Coach Kyle Ediger said he’s seen bursts of solid play from his young team and is pleased with the attitude on game night as well as during practice.
“We’re going to be the shorter team all year so that’s just something we have to live with,” Ediger said after Friday’s 53-31 home loss to Osceola. “We have to try to use our speed to our advantage and overcome being outsized. We need to push the ball up the court more and take advantage of our speed.”
