The swings were fierce and momentum shifts aplenty Thursday night between Aurora and Class A's North Platte.

Even though the Lady Huskies had opportunities early, North Platte proved to be too much for Aurora as the Bulldogs won in four sets, 25-23, 25-23, 21-25 and 25-12.

In each of the first two sets, Aurora and North Platte ended up deadlocked at 23-all and anybody's game. Each time, though, it was the Bulldogs that pushed ahead.

Aurora led for much of the third before North Platte cut the Aurora lead to 21-20. However, Jaylee Schuster and Co. helped slow the visitors roll and force the match to a fourth set.

The fourth was all North Platte, leading 16-6 on its way to a four-set win.

Aurora's final home match of the regular season is Tuesday night against Seward.
