A balanced attack with plenty of road warriors was all the Aurora volleyball team needed Thursday night in Hastings.
The Lady Huskies shared the ball and fed off its visiting crowd energy, picking up a four-set win over the Tigers, 25-17, 23-25, 25-22 and 25-19.
Entering the Jungle, Aurora coach Lois Hixson and the Lady Huskies were ready to embrace the atmosphere.
“The girls rose to the challenge of playing well in game one which led to having a lot of confidence the rest of the match,” Hixson noted. “As a team, everyone played aggressively and hit some smart shots when needed.”
