    The Aurora girls basketball team earned its first win of the season Friday night in comeback fashion. 

    Denae Nachtigal scored all 12 of her team-high points in the second half as Aurora picked up a 39-33 win at home. 

    The Lady Huskies trailed 15-9 at half when Nachtigal blasted Lakeview with nine points in the third, but Aurora still trailed 24-20. 

    Aurora scored 19 fourth quarter points, including six free throws by Ellie Hutsell as the Lady Huskies improve its record to 1-2. 

    As for the boys, the game was never in question as the Huskies earned a 55-25 win over Lakeview. 

    Aurora started the game on a 20-4 run before leading at the half, 28-7.

    Tate Nachtigal led the Huskies with 17 points while Preston Ramaekers added 11. 

    The Aurora boys will play a standalone contest at Beatrice Saturday. Both teams will be back at home next Friday, taking on York.
