Lincoln Marathon
There was plenty of local flair at Sunday’s Lincoln marathon and half marathon with nearly 20 competitors just from Aurora alone.
Jessica Gibson, Levi Schulze and Ryan Siebrass were Aurora’s three competitors in the marathon. Schulze finished at 3:28.43 while Gibson ran a time of 4:35.30, and Siebrass had a time of 4:10.32.

Area runners from Hampton included Nathan Goertzen, 2:03.11; Laci Fleming, 2:08.10; Jessica Rojewski, 2:27.55.
Area runners from Giltner included Sheven Rodocker, 2:16.47; Thayne Rodocker, 2:16.51; Taylor Greathouse, 2:20.51.
Area runners from Marquette included Delcy Falk, 2:41.09 and Keiko Sasakawa in the full marathon at 4:00.27. Area runners from Phillips included Faith Gustafson, 2:25.54.
