Clifford Dean Ulmer was born April 27, 1950 in Aurora, to Elaine Smith Ulmer and Harris D. Ulmer. He died Aug. 27, 2021 at his home in Las Vegas, Nev.    
He married Karen L. Ulmer in October 1974 and was later divorced in 1980. He married Phyllis M. Ulmer in 1993. Phyllis later died in 2009. He married Leona Smith-Ulmer in 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah, now living in Las Vegas, Nev.
Cliff graduated from Aurora High School in 1968. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army where he specialized in intelligence and retired in June 1990. He worked for USPS in Salt Lake City, Utah, for 23 years and retired in 2016. During his career in the military, he graduated with a BS Degree in Computer Science. His hobbies includes tinkering with electronics and woodworking. He enjoys dancing and had taken up competition in salsa dance. He enjoyed reading and keeping up with the times. He also loved salt water and fresh water tropical fish.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Smith; his three siblings, Cindy Nelson (Ken); Bill Ulmer (Quilla); Pam Ulmer (John Petersen); his two children, Ingrid Ulmer (Charles Glas) and Aaron Ulmer; step-son, Corey Harvell; step-daughters, Holly Holfeltz and Mandy Blair; one grandchild, six step-grandchildren and three nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 14229 S. Redwood Rd, Bluffdale, UT, 84065.
