Carol Rasmussen

Carol Ann (Auman) Rasmussen, age 63, of Aurora, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 7 at the First Christian Church in Aurora. Pastor Penny Schultz officiated. Current CDC guidelines were followed. Carol Ann (Auman) Rasmussen, the daughter of Orval Dwayne and Frances Elinor (Dahlke) Auman, was born in Grand Island, on Dec. 29, 1956 and passed away in Aurora, on April 28, 2020, at the age of 63. Carol grew up in Aurora,

Carol grew up in Aurora, graduating from Aurora High School in 1975. She then attended Mount Marty College in Yankton, S.D. for a year. Carol then worked at Farmers Mutual Insurance in Lincoln. Carol was married and moved to Austin, Texas and raised her daughter until her health caused her to return to Aurora.

Carol loved her daughter, cats and enjoyed bowling.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Antygonee Renee Rasmussen of Austin, Texas; brother, Marty (Stephanie) Auman of Aurora; sister, Connie (Bradley) Jones of Cherry Hill, N.J.; step-father, Robert Jensen of Marquette; several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
