While nearly eight decades have passed since she was discharged from her military service with the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) at the end of WWII, Carol Robotham still has vivid memories of her military service in 1944-45 that took her from rural Nebraska across the country to Atlantic City, N.J. to serve as a clerk typist.
