Average precip for county was nearly 12 inches ahead of ‘23

Hamilton County received enough precipitation in 2024 to not only recover from the drought of the previous two years but it also turned out to be the wettest of the last five years. The second wettest year since 2020 was the year 2021 which, at 28.016 inches of precip, was only nine-tenths of an inch behind 2024 for rainfall.
