Search warrant turns up fentanyl, meth, 5 guns, ammo

An Aurora man has been jailed following the execution of a search warrant at his home on Sunday. Hamilton County Sheriff Jeromy McCoy reported that 54-year-old Gordon Spencer was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of methamphetamine, possession of exceptionally hazardous drug, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and no drug tax stamp.
McCoy says the search of the home in the 500 block of 14th Street led to the seizure of 16.6 grams of methamphetamine, 1.9 grams of fentanyl, five firearms and a large quantity of ammunition. 
The Aurora Police Department assisted with the execution of the search warrant and the arrest.
