Body

The Aurora Volunteer Fire Department responded to two fires caused by owners who had burn permits having embers from piles sparking out-of-control fires on Friday afternoon.
Another two seperate fires broke out about a half mile from each other in a ditch along Highway 14 outside of Marquette on Tuesday morning.
According to Aurora Fire Chief Tom Cox, though snows may have wetted the ground in recent weeks, the dry grass of winter makes fires a hazard this time of the year.
