It hasn't happened often this season, but the overall outcome was still in question at the half for Aurora.

The Huskies led Boone Central 20-12 at the break and responded with three third quarter scores, including a blocked punt as Aurora beat Boone 40-19 to qualify for its third straight football finals.

Jack Allen came up with the blocked punt that Connor Smith recovered in the end zone for a touchdown before Carlos Collazo's second TD of the night in his return to the lineup pushed the lead to 40-12.

Collazo finished with an unofficial 253 yards of rushing as the Huskies totaled 400 yards.

Aurora is set for a clash in the C1 finals against Pierce, a matchup people have anticipated since August. The Huskies and Bluejays have been the top two teams all season long and will match up Nov. 22 at Memorial Stadium each sporting a 12-0 record.
