Young Hampton native Liam Faller has had quite the success in the pedal tractor pull world as of late.
What started as a fun thing to do during Hampton Booster Days over the summer grew into a state competition and then nationals in September.
According to Megan Faller, Liam’s mother, the family heard about the opportunity from a group of friends who had taken their children previously.
“He had to get first or second at a local level (and he) got first at Hampton Booster Days,” Megan Faller, Liam’s mother, said of how the 6-year-old qualified for the higher levels of competition. “Then he had to participate in state at the (Nebraska) State Fair and place in the top four.”
Liam earned just what he needed, a fourth place finish out of 77 participants in his age division from Nebraska and surrounding states.
