Peterson named South coach for 60th Shrine Bowl

Aurora head football coach Kyle Peterson was named Wednesday morning as the head coach for the South team for the 60th annual Shrine Bowl Game next June. Peterson was an assistant coach back in 2011 for the South team. Peterson, who has been the head Husky since 2015, will be joined on the sideline by Reed Manstedt, Crete; Ryan Kearney, Pius X; Rashawn Harvey, Kearney Catholic; Tim Elge, Aurora; Wade Miller, Seward. The 60th annual Shrine Bowl game will be played at the University of Nebraska - Kearney’s Ron and Carol Cope Stadium Foster Field in Kearney on Saturday, June 2.
