Giltner picks up wins over Hampton, Longhorns Thursday

Giltner started the season 0-6 and just needed some confidence. At least that’s what coach Jamey Eastman said two weeks ago.
He may have been onto something as the Hornets have now won three in a row, including a sweep at Dorchester’s triangular Thursday night, which included area rival Hampton to boot.
“We worked on attitude this week. We came out here positive and went to work,” Eastman noted of his Hornets. “We put together everything we’ve worked on this year on the court tonight. It was a lot of fun.”
The second match of a tripleheader featured the Hornets and Hawks, a two-set sweep for the orange and black, 25-7 and 25-22.
