Clyde Annon Haskins was born January 26, 1938 in Fullerton. He departed in life December 14, 2021 in Omaha at the age of 83.  He attended UNL  where he played football for the Huskers for 1 year. He then completed his education in 1960 from Peru State Teachers College with a BS-ED and taught school and coached all boys sports in Genoa, from 1960-1964 before going into the banking business. He worked at the Genoa National Bank for 4 years.  
In 1959 he married Rita Cassell. They were blessed with 2 children, Marc in 1961 and Barb in 1963. In 1972 they moved to Aurora, where he worked for Farmers State Bank for 13 years.
In 1985 he joined the Geneva State Bank as Executive Vice President in Geneva,  where he worked until he retired in 2001. In 2003, Clyde and Rita bought a home in York, where they lived until moving to Omaha in 2011.
Clyde enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing with son Marc, and grandson Tyler.
Clyde was preceided in death by his parents, sister, and son Marc.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Rita, daughter Barb (Dan) Harlan of Bennington, daughter-in-law Cindy Haskins of Red Cloud, his 6 grandchildren April (Marcel) English,  Ashley (Jared) Lewis, Alicia Olsen, Abbey (Adam) Harig, Adriana (Xavier) Marin, Tyler (Rachel) Haskins and 12 great-grandchildren and another on the way in 2022. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he treasured the time he spent with his family.
