    The brooms were out and ready on Hampton's Senior Night. 

    The Lady Hawks used one of its best serving nights of the season to defeat Red Cloud in three sets, 25-15, 25-14 and 25-23 Thursday at home. 

    After two dominant sets, the third was much more difficult. 

    With things tied at 20, Hampton scored three in a row with a Kylie Mersch kill and Zaya Stuart ace. 

    Red Cloud used its own 3-0 run to tie things at 23, but after a Hampton timeout, the Lady Hawks finished strong with a Lillian Dose ace to win it. 

    As the calendar flips to October, Hampton will be back in action Tuesday at Meridian in a triangular with High Plains.
