The Aurora junior ran in the 16-minute bracket at Thursday's Charlie Thorell Invite in Seward alongside some of the top cross country talent regardless of class, ending up with a top 10 effort. Oswald's official time was 16:49, around 53 seconds off the winning pace in 10th overall.
