Hamilton County Sheriffs officers were called to an accident on M Road just before noon Aug. 10 for a one-vehicle rollover accident.
Two teens, a brother and sister, were injured, one critical, in the rollover accident three miles southwest of Aurora, according to law enforcement.
The passenger, Jacob Wiles of Giltner, was ejected from the vehicle, Sheriff Jeromy McCoy reported. He suffered critical injuries and was taken by helicopter to Kearney for treatment.
Investigation found the vehicle was southbound on M Road and lost control on the gravel, went into the east ditch and rolled numerous times, according to law enforcement.
The driver of the vehicle, Tracy Wiles, went to a nearby residence to call for help and was treated for injuries at Memorial Hospital in Aurora, McCoy reported. He added that speed was a factor, driving too fast for road conditions.
The Nebraska State Patrol assisted with the accident investigation and re-creation.
