During the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the Plainsman Museum in Aurora is offering the public a chance to step back to a simpler time during its annual Day on the Farm.
After being canceled in 2020, the annual event is set to return Sunday from 1-4 p.m. with a variety of live demonstrations, snacks and exhibits to explore.
“Day on the Farm is free and open to the public,” museum director Tina Larson voiced. “We want people to feel that this is their museum.”
This event gives community members and visitors a chance to explore all the museum has to offer at no cost. She noted that the full agricultural building will not be open for the event but the lobby of the building will be.
