The measure of employment reported in Table 1 is date on the number of people employed in the non farm wage and salary sector in Hamilton County, regardless of their county of residence. The data indicates total non farm wage and salary employment rose by 13.4 percent, or 420 jobs between 2009 and 2019.
Hamilton County added 420 nonfarm jobs to the local payroll between 2009-19 with a majority of those coming in the private sector, though the manufacturing sector lost 59 total jobs over that same period.
