The Leadership Center’s eighth annual Harvest Gala is set to dazzle the community Nov. 19 starting at 6 p.m., offering a chance for the community to gather together and give back to an organization aimed at “creating moments that matter” for those in Hamilton County and across the state.
An hors d’oeuvres hour will welcome guests first, Executive Director Maile Ilac-Boeder explained. This will also feature a cash bar with wine from Prairie Creek Vineyards, beer from Prairie Pride Brewery and the start of the silent auction.
The meal starts with a salad, followed by a peach champagne and thyme sorbet palate cleanser.
“And then our main course this year is a prime rib, which we’ve never done prime rib before, with the shrimp skewer, our garlic mashed potatoes and an autumn blend of vegetables -- most of which have been grown in the gardens at The Leadership Center,” Ilac-Boeder continued. “And then our dessert, of course, will come from our amazing dessert auction, which we’re really excited for this year.”
