Middle school is tough and many students are plagued by the question of what do you want to be when you grow up? Students at High Plains Community Middle School have an option to explore different paths to follow in high school and beyond. 
Middle and high school principal Cameron Hudson explained that the career exploration class is an elective for seventh and eighth-grade students.
“There are two periods a day that are electives for middles school students,” he explained. “One of the electives they can choose is band and the other elective is chorus.”
