One of the most Nebraskan things is to eat beef and at High Plains Community Schools they are bringing locally sourced beef into their lunchroom through the Beef Booster program.
Middle and high school principal Cameron Hudson explained that the meat is supplied through monetary donations from community members.
“We’ve had six or seven loyal Beef Boosters during the entire time,” he reported. “We really don’t have to ask for funds as they just continue to support us.”
