Aurora firefighters made quick work of a small fire in a home on 7th Street Friday morning.
Aurora Fire Chief Tom Cox reported the fire was started by a stove in the kitchen.
“By the time we got on scene, luckily, it hadn’t grown that much,” Cox said. “There was no oxygen getting to the fire. It was contained to the stove.”
Eleven firefighters were called to the scene and were able to contain the damage to the kitchen.
