Manager Kirt Smith provided a brief update on the status of COVID-19 and the vaccine in the district to commissioners Monday.
“I just thought I’d give you a quick update of where we’ve been,” Smith began. “This last week we were at 971 total cases since this all started, and 18 deaths. We had 25 people tested last week in our county and we’re 4 percent positivity rate.”
There has also only been one case in the last 14 days, he added, which is good news.
