County talks Extension Office move

Plans might soon be moving forward to bring Hamilton County’s Extension office out to a new home at the fairgrounds.
On behalf of the Hamilton County Ag Society, Jeremy Brandt was on hand during Monday’s board of commissioners meeting to introduce a prospective interlocal between the ag society and the county.
According to Brandt, the interlocal was discussed and approved by the ag society board at their most recent meeting.
“(This would be) the first step in our consideration of placing the Extension Office out at the fairgrounds,” Chairman Rich Nelson began. “No decisions have been made on letting any bids or any other matters…”
