John Thomas to serve as Vice Chair for 2021 board

The Hamilton County Board of Commissioners spent most of Monday’s board meeting performing reorganizational tasks, appointing board positions and other boards and committees in the county.
Commissioner John Thomas was appointed vice chair, replacing Commissioner Becky Richter in the role.
Also rounding out the action by the board on this agenda item, commissioners voted to recognize, among others, exiting Joint Planning Commission member Harold Ortegren of Marquette for over 30 years of service on the board.
