Smith reports of vaccine drive-thru this Wednesday

On hand to provide a COVID-19 update for Hamilton County, Hamilton County Emergency Manager Kirt Smith gave the commissioners good news Monday.
“The numbers I have are from midweek last week,” he began. “(But) the positivity rate is down to 23 percent and in the last seven days, as of last Wednesday, we’ve had 15 positives countywide.”
Smith also took the time to inform commissioners that as of Saturday (Jan. 30) the state of Nebraska had moved from the Blue Phase to the Green Phase, according to Gov. Pete Ricketts.
