When communities work together in a competition against themselves, everybody wins. That theory rang true for the Hamilton County Food Pantry during the annual Can Care-A-Van fundraiser Aug. 4.
Between food donations and monetary gifts, where each dollar counted as two pounds, a total of 43,905 pounds were raised that Tuesday afternoon.
