The Bremer Center, a focal point for community meetings and events in Aurora for generations, opened its doors after a pandemic-forced shutdown recently with a new president now leading its volunteer board of directors. “We were shut down for quite a while, which was hard because there were a lot of people who wanted to rent the facility,” reported Shane Thorell, an 11- year member of the board…
