A new event is set to kick off in Aurora Sunday to celebrate Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community in the form of a pride march followed by a drag show.
Organizers Beaux Mason, Evan Rose and Dakota Russell spoke on the events of the day and the impact they are hoping it has on the community.
“We’re going to be meeting at the skate park in Aurora,” Rose stated. “Then we’ll be marching down 16th Street to the corner of Q and 16th streets to show our pride. Then we’re going to march back and have a little booth area for people to celebrate together.”
