For Aurora native Drew Thompson, life has come full circle -- almost literally.
The 2014 Aurora High School graduate is now completing one of his last rotations in his pursuit to becoming a doctor, in the very hospital where he was born.
After high school the Husky alumni went off to UNK to start his educational career.
“I got a bunch of scholarships there, so I was pretty fortunate about that,” he said. “I don’t think I could have gone to a better college for myself.”
On the pre-med track, Thompson completed a degree in biology with a Spanish minor.
