Grant Saddler

Grant Saddler, age 79, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Memorial Community Care. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 17 at the Aurora United Methodist Church, 1104 A Street.  Rev. Michelle Reed will officiate.

Kay Hinrichs

Kay Ruth Hinrichs, age 80 of York, died Friday, February 10, 2023, in York. She was born December 24, 1942, in Glendale, CA to Kenneth and Ruth (Bohannan) Jones. She was raised in York by her grandparents John and Cora Mabel Jones. On June 12, 1964, she was married to Gerald Hinrichs in York.

Kevin Mason

On February 10, 2023 Kevin Mason of Aurora lost his life suddenly in a car accident at the age of 59. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 18 at 11 a.m. at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. No visitation.  Luncheon to follow services at the Eagles Club in Central City.

Marcia Strasheim

Marcia Kay Strasheim, 73, of Phillips, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her home. Service and a celebration of Marcia’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.

Regina (Sheridan) Leininger

Sutton resident Regina Clare (Sheridan) Leininger, 94, was welcomed with open arms by her heavenly Father Monday, February 6, 2023, at Legacy Square in Henderson.   A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sutton.

Nola Hodgson

Nola Belle Hodgson passed away February 7, 2023 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital.   There will be a graveside service Friday, February 17 at 1 p.m. at the Overton Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hodgson officiating.    No Visitation.

Laurence Read

Laurence Read (88) of Walnut Creek, CA, passed away January 11, 2023 surrounded by his children.  Born October 21, 1934 in Inland, Laurence moved to the Bay Area while serving in the U.S. Army.  After leaving the Army Laurence joined Contra Costa County Fire Department where he served for 30 years.

David Hahn

David Eugene Hahn, 67 yrs, of Fremont, passed away, February 2, 2023, at Colonial Haven in Beemer. David was born November 8, 1955, in Grand Island, to Howard and Arleen (Zierott) Hahn.  David grew up in Hampton and attended Hampton Lutheran School through 8th grade.

Harvard resident Docia Fern (Osborne) Wilson, 65, passed away after an extended illness Monday, January 30, 2023, at her home in Harvard. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.

Lauri McDonald, age 59, of Neola, Iowa, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at her mother’s home in Clay Center. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 6 at Monroe Evangelical Free Church, 1001 West 18 Road, Phillips. Pastor Joe Mullarkey will officiate.
