Chasing dreams, one scent at a time

Zach Tesar has always been a dog person. He grew up with hunting labs and jokingly admitted he likes dogs more than people. Eventually, Tesar wanted a new challenge within his passions -- dogs and hunting. That curiosity led to training his own dogs for the hunt.

Bosak’s target during deer season is family time

Hunting is all about family for Nikki (Senff) Bosak.The Hampton native and 2004 HHS grad has looked forward to November outings each year when her parents, Dean and Karla, brother Mark and extended family members gear up and head out before dawn.

The show goes on at Hampton

The Hampton High School one act team presented its community performance on Nov. 24. This year’s production is “The One-Act Play Disaster” by Don Zolidis. The comedy features a cast and crew attempting to adapt a play based on a popular heist movie, but things go wrong as the play commences.

Food Pantry reports rising demand

As the cost of groceries has risen across Nebraska and the United States, so too has the number of people reaching out for help to put food on the table to feed their families.
