Zach Tesar has always been a dog person. He grew up with hunting labs and jokingly admitted he likes dogs more than people. Eventually, Tesar wanted a new challenge within his passions -- dogs and hunting. That curiosity led to training his own dogs for the hunt.

Hunting is all about family for Nikki (Senff) Bosak.The Hampton native and 2004 HHS grad has looked forward to November outings each year when her parents, Dean and Karla, brother Mark and extended family members gear up and head out before dawn.

The Edgerton Explorit Center explored the far reaches of fundraising and holiday costuming on Saturday night at its annual Holiday Hoopla fundraiser.

What started as a concept to expand the Aurora 4R School District’s preschool program has evolved over the past month into a preliminary proposal involving districtwide changes which drew more than 30 people to hear a detailed three-hour board discussion Monday night.Supt.

Santa Claus had a busy night Sunday on Dec. 8, welcoming children to his lap during the Christmas in Hampton celebration. The annual celebration held on Main Street also included fresh made s'mores, wagon rides and a soup supper at the Fire Barn.

Owner Jim McHargue announced recently that he has completed another expansion project of his U-Save Self Storage facilities, which is located just north of Jim’s U-Save Pharmacy.

The Hampton High School one act team presented its community performance on Nov. 24. This year’s production is “The One-Act Play Disaster” by Don Zolidis. The comedy features a cast and crew attempting to adapt a play based on a popular heist movie, but things go wrong as the play commences.
