Aurora senior chose track over volleyball, basketball
When Jaylee Schuster ran through her mind what her next step of education would be, all options were on the table.
There were several in-state schools that not only wanted her to come be apart of their program, but that draw was across multiple sports, from volleyball to basketball and even track.
In the end, her love for track and field won out.
Schuster signed a letter of intent March 16 to continue her academic and track and field career at Concordia University.
In front of her friends and family, Schuster couldn’t help but smile the entire time, satisfied with her decision.
For her, it was hard enough to choose one school to commit to. It was maybe even harder to select one sport to stick with past high school.
