Aurora found themselves in another five-set tussle Tuesday night, but this one had a different ending.

The Lady Huskies looked to be in control, but couldn't finish the deal in a five-set loss to Lexington, 14-25, 25-22, 25-23, 22-25 and 15-13 at home.

Wearing pink uniforms for breast cancer awareness, Aurora had a 7-6 lead in the fifth after two Lexi Jones attacks that forced a Lexington timeout.

From there, Aurora scored four in a row with a Jones ace, as well as kills from Madie Stevenson and Aleah Vinkenberg that made it 11-7 Aurora.

Lexington scored five in a row to regain the lead, 12-11. Despite a couple attacks from Vinkenberg, the Minutemaids pulled ahead to win 15-13.

The loss was Aurora's first of the season in a five-set match. The Lady Huskies had won its previous two five-setters.

The Lady Huskies will be back on the road Thursday, taking on Class A North Platte.
