With an old-school feel, Giltner and Nebraska Lutheran’s volleyball teams squared off in the moments leading up to the Hornets and the Knights battling it out on the gridiron.
The two volleyball teams made sure to give everyone their monies worth, too.
After leading two sets to one in the match, Nebraska Lutheran survived a Hornet rally to win in five on its Homecoming Friday, 25-27, 25-17, 25-21, 25-27 and 15-6.
Giltner coach Jamey Eastman noted his team’s strong start to the game went a bit haywire, but was happy to see the Lady Hornets fight back when the match was on the line.
