Aaron Jividen made it official last week, announcing his plans to continue his wrestling career as a Bulldog at Concordia University.
The Aurora senior recently wrapped up a stellar athletic career wearing Husky red, though he actually had a decision to make whether to pursue wrestling or football. Jividen was a two-time state medalist in wrestling, finishing as   the heavyweight runner-up in Class B last month in Omaha, though he was also part of Aurora’s two-time state runner-up football teams and the state title team in 2018.
“For a while I was debating between football and wrestling,” Jividen said during a brief signing ceremony March 29 at the school. “This year I took some time to see which one I enjoyed doing better and I just like wrestling a whole lot more. It’s something I want to continue.”
