    Saturday’s Central Conference championship bout between Aurora and Adams Central had all the makings for a heavyweight fight. 
    In the end, Adams Central delivered several knockout blows in a winning effort. 
    The Patriots won back-to-back Central Conference championships with a resounding 53-38 win over the Huskies in a game played in Aurora’s backyard. 
    Adams Central and Aurora have now combined to win the past six conference titles, with the Huskies winning four in a row before the Patriots won the previous two.
