Two area teams squared off Tuesday night as Hampton bested High Plains in two sets -- 27-25 and 25-19 in the final of a three-game triangular. 

Hampton also defeated Meridian in two while the Mustangs beat High Plains in three. 

The matchup featured mentor against former player with Diane Torson's Hawks taking on Brittany Klingsporn's Storm. 

Hampton moves to 14-8 on the season while High Plains falls to 12-8.
